The Pottery

The Pottery is really an outbuilding that historically was used as a dairy parlour and contains an old bread oven, we use it as a pottery but it could be used for a wide range of different things such as an Artists studio, sewing room, small home office, hobby workshop etc. The renovated half of the building comprises 2 rooms 1 x 12sqm and 1 of 6sqm with a large opening between them, against one wall is a set of storage units with an insert sink and tap, hot water is provided via an under sink 3kw electric heater. overhead LED spot lights ensure that the rooms are well lit. The pottery has its own electrical “fuse panel” which runs off the main panel in the house and there are several double wall sockets providing ample power points. Room heating is provided by a La Castellana Lady Scintilla 12KW Pellet stove. Should the purchasers wish, they can also purchase the following Equipment: • Kiln - Pottery Crafts P9541 - 6kw 86Lt (wired as single phase) • Pottery Wheel - Shimpo RK-3E There is a second area to the building which used to house pigs, this area has not been renovated yet and which comprises one large open room of 11.99sqm. Access to the room is via its own old stable door. A new door opening could easily be made between the “pottery” and this second room.
